Jason Musser is a writer of ridiculous songs, as you
will hopefully agree after listening to the tracks below.
He plays guitar and sings these songs around Chicago... Try Phyllis' Musical Inn on Division St. on most Tuesday nights around 9.
He is also a presentable electric
bass and rockabilly upright bass player
who can sing/holler while playing if necessary. Located in
the Chicago suburbs, he may be available for your projects if they are strange enough. E-mail him at jason@replikon.com. Having played paying 3-set gigs around Chicago for six years or so with various bands, he currently plays 4 to 6 shows a month with the 3-piece band the Cadillac Casanovas.
Jason is also the creator of Deterrent Comics featuring Mr. MX, which recently published its second 32-page issue.
Go to my whole youtube channel for more--and more recent--arguably
funny original songs. And then post them all on facebook!
The second 32-page issue of Deterrent Comics featuring Mr. MX is now available.
In addition to the regular features, our second issue includes a great 10-page American Society of Superheroes, Inc.
story in FULL COLOR!! You met them briefly in Deterrent #1 and now you'll get your
first in-depth look at their lives--fighting crime, conducting job
interviews, and filling out their semi-annual self-evalulation forms
for H.R.!

Jason Musser and the Limitations of the Source Tape

Jason addresses the marketability of the bachelor of arts degree in Family Ties, delivers a credible and poignant description of life as an outsider in Dogs with Human Heads, and gives a brief survey of cellular subscriber mobility management in HLR Song 1.1.0.3, while in Perpetual Lotion Machine Jason uses a metaphor. Also includes the unexpectedly popular Bob Dylan's 82nd Dream.
